Special Education Advocacy Rooted in Experience
— and Made for Parents Like You

You Shouldn’t Have to Fight Alone.

At IDEA Ally, you’ll find more than an advocate — you’ll find a partner who walks beside you, speaks your child’s language, and helps you reclaim your voice.

With over 30 years of experience as a teacher and literacy specialist, Allison understands what most advocates don’t — the view from inside the classroom. She’s helped students with dyslexia, learning challenges, and IEPs for decades. And now, she brings that same care and clarity to families like yours.

Whether you're lost in paperwork or preparing for your first IEP meeting, you won’t have to do it alone. Allison knows the system, speaks the language, and helps you show up — calm, prepared, and empowered.

👋 Based in Warwick, NY — Supporting families face-to-face in NY & NJ — and across the country through virtual advocacy.

What We Do — and Why It Matters

🗣️

Personal IEP Meeting Support

We don’t just show up. We help you speak up — clearly, calmly, and confidently. From decoding the jargon to knowing what to ask and when, we walk in beside you so your child doesn’t just get services… they get seen.

📚

Parent Coaching & Education

You deserve answers — not acronyms. We teach you what the law really says (in plain English), so you can make decisions with clarity, not fear. Every conversation becomes one you’re ready for.

🛡️

504 Plans & Eligibility Guidance

When your child doesn’t qualify for an IEP, it’s easy to feel stuck. We help you explore what’s possible, what’s legal, and what’s next — so your child gets the support they deserve.

📄

Records Review & Document Clarity

Paperwork shouldn’t feel like a second language. We highlight what matters, flag what’s missing, and give you the questions that change the conversation.
